Annie Chien
Executive Director / Chief Editor
Annie Chien is a rising senior and the Founder of Ready to Grow, a nonprofit dedicated to empowering young children and families through early childhood development and caregiver education. Inspired by her passion for working with children, she believes every child deserves the opportunity to reach their fullest potential, regardless of their background or circumstances. As an aspiring pediatrician, Annie hopes to build lifelong relationships with children and their families while promoting healthy development through compassionate, evidence-based care. As Executive Director and Chief Editor, she leads the organization's vision while overseeing the development and editing of Ready to Grow's workshops, caregiver guides, and educational resources to ensure they are engaging, accessible, and evidence-based.
Megan Chien
Deputy Executive Director / Growth Director
Megan Chien is a rising sophomore, Co-Founder of Ready to Grow, and Deputy Executive Director. She is passionate about improving children's health and development by ensuring every child has an equal opportunity to thrive, regardless of their background or circumstances. As an aspiring biomedical engineer and physician, Megan hopes to combine engineering, medicine, and community service to create innovative, evidence-based solutions for pediatric healthcare. As Deputy Executive Director, she helps lead the organization's growth and strategic direction by developing new initiatives, supporting cross-department collaboration, expanding community outreach, and overseeing projects that strengthen Ready to Grow's impact.
Pia Odhrani
Outreach Director
Pia is a rising high school sophomore with interests in aerospace engineering, filmmaking, and community service. She enjoys combining creativity and problem-solving through both STEM and film, using storytelling as a way to educate, inspire, and connect with others. She believes that collaboration and innovation can make learning more engaging and accessible for children of all backgrounds. Through Ready to Grow, Pia is dedicated to supporting young children and families by helping create meaningful educational opportunities and resources for her community.
Aria Hsu
Workshop Co-Director
Aria Hsu is a rising sophomore and the Co-Director of the Workshop Department at Ready to Grow. She is passionate about working with children and creating meaningful learning experiences that support their growth and development. As an aspiring elementary school teacher or early childhood program director, Aria enjoys seeking out opportunities to work with and support younger children through volunteering, mentorship, and community involvement. Outside of school, she has played tennis for over three years and has completed multiple summers as a Counselor-in-Training (CIT) while also helping care for younger family members.
Jeel Shrimali
Caregiver Awareness Director
Jeel Shrimali is a high school sophomore with a strong passion for using her problem solving skills to help her community. She is excited to join Ready to Grow because she believes that supporting children in their important phases of life and being there for them is the base for a bright future. This initiative means a lot to her as it helps the parents by guiding them, and their children towards living a healthy and fulfilling life. She hopes to continue growing as a passionate leader while creating engaging and reliable material for parents, and continue learning from the inspiring community of peers and educators involved in this initiative.
Sai Datla
Innovation & Impact Director
Sai Datla is a rising junior at Vista Ridge High School and serves as the Innovation & Impact Director for Ready to Grow. He is passionate about healthcare, research, and helping children and families access valuable resources. Through Ready to Grow, he enjoys developing new initiatives and finding creative ways to expand the organization's impact within the community. In the future, he hopes to pursue a career in medicine and continue making a positive impact in his community.
Hadia Asad
Co-Social Media Director
Hadia is a high school student from Lahore, Pakistan, with a strong interest in biology-related fields, particularly biotechnology and pharmaceutical sciences. She is passionate about learning, exploring new opportunities, and challenging herself through meaningful experiences that foster both personal and academic growth. Driven by a desire to make a positive impact, she enjoys contributing to initiatives that support education and community development. Through her involvement with the Ready to Grow Initiative, Hadia is committed to helping young learners build confidence, develop foundational skills, and reach their full potential.
Lumana M.
Co-Social Media Director
Lumana M. is a rising sophomore and serves as the Co-Social Media Director of Ready To Grow. She helps manage educational content that makes child development and health information more accessible to families through social media. Driven by a love for science and service, she aspires to become a dermatologist and make a meaningful difference in patients' lives. Outside of Ready To Grow, she enjoys reading, playing music, singing, dancing, and staying active through fitness.

Madison Mucetti
Growth Department Member
Madison Mucetti is a senior psychology student at Oregon State University online. She is passionate about childhood development, working with neurodiverse children, and childhood grief as well as accessible learning and care with children in mind. She is an aspiring grief and neurodiversity informed therapist and social worker which is what drives her passion for the Ready to Grow Initiative. Alongside school and Ready to Grow, Madison is a member of the National Society of Leadership and Success, Psi Chi, and the Honors college at Oregon State University and currently working on a thesis for the honors college. Ready to Grow has given her the opportunity to use her psychology skills in child development as well as her interest in social justice and accessibility.
Irene So
Outreach Department Member
Irene So is a rising sophomore and an outreach board member of Ready to Grow. She is interested and passionate about improving medical care and wellness of underserved communities. She is pursuing the career of pediatrics, and hopes to utilize her career and experience to improve the accessibility of medical attention for those who don't have it. Alongside being a member of Ready to Grow, she is president of BHS GMMA, a chapter of Global Medical Missions Alliance. Through GMMA, she has opportunities to lead and go to communities to bring medicine to those who can't access it. She has also played tennis for 6 years.
Saanvi Chaparala
Workshop Development Department Member
Saanvi Chaparala is a rising sophomore and a member of the workshop development team. She is interested in child psychology which is why she chose to research adolescent development to create adolescent cognitive, emotional and physical workshops. She hopes to use this knowledge to help all children become educated adults. She is trying to create unique activities that are both fun and educational. Her main goal is to shift away from repetitive classroom games and give children a chance to learn new skills through fun innovated activities.

She is passionate about fostering a culture of service and inspiring students to use their talents to support young children and families in the community. As Co-President, Annie helps guide the chapter by leading meetings, organizing volunteer opportunities, coordinating community outreach initiatives, and mentoring members as they develop leadership skills through service.

Megan Chien is a rising sophomore, Co-Founder of the Ready to Grow Beckman Chapter, and Co-President of the chapter. She is passionate about inspiring students to use their skills and interests to create meaningful change in their community. As Co-President, Megan helps lead the chapter by organizing volunteer opportunities, planning educational events, recruiting new members, and fostering a collaborative environment where students can make a lasting impact.

Aria Hsu is a rising sophomore at Arnold O. Beckman High School and serves as the Vice President and Treasurer of the Ready to Grow Club. She is passionate about supporting early childhood development and creating opportunities for students to make a meaningful impact in their community. As an aspiring elementary school teacher or early childhood program director, Aria enjoys taking on leadership roles that allow her to combine organization, teamwork, and service. Through her involvement in Ready to Grow, she helps coordinate club initiatives, manage fundraising efforts, and support projects that benefit children and families.

Hello! My name is Reedy and I'm a rising senior. I'm the Volunteer and Logistics Coordinator for Ready To Grow. This is my first year being a part of this organization and it's been a great experience meeting new people and communities. I love working with kids and volunteering to lead different workshops. My favorite part about being in my position is making new connections with my board members and the rest of Ready To Grow!
Irene So
Social Media Coordinator
Irene So is a rising sophomore and the social media manager of BHS Ready to Grow. She decided to become a board member because she was interested in making a difference in the community and in early child development. As she pursues a career in pediatrics, she was intrigued at getting a head start in experience and exposure to working with children. As social media director, she manages the Instagram platform of BHS Ready to Grow, announcing future events, meetings, fundraisers, and posting recaps of events. She also helps plan fundraisers, workshop ideas, and meeting schedules during board meetings.

Event Coordinator
Lumana M. is a rising sophomore and serves as the Event Coordinator for the Ready To Grow Beckman Chapter. She enjoys helping organize community events that connect families with evidence-based child development and health resources in engaging and accessible ways. With a passion for biology and medicine, she hopes to become a dermatologist and provide compassionate care to her future patients. In her free time, Lumana enjoys reading, playing music, singing, dancing, and staying active through fitness.

Charlotte Schuck
Vice President
Charlotte Schuck is an upcoming sophomore, and serves as the Vice President for OCSA Ready to Grow. In her role, Charlotte's focus is to support the club's members, help everyone feel included, and find ways to drive the organization's mission forward. She absolutely loves collaborating with others to bring fresh and creative ideas to the table that can help strengthen Ready to Grow's impact on the community. Throughout the upcoming year, she aims to bring positive and welcoming energy into everything the club does to help the entire community grow together.
Ariel Cho
Secretary
Ariel Cho is a rising sophomore and secretary of the Ready to Grow OCSA chapter. She loves to communicate and help children and students who are struggling with speaking, communicating, and expressing themselves. She hopes to assist her team to improve and expand the community through art, music, and community service to reach out to children who need or want their help. Through Ready to Grow, she is planning to learn more about communication for her team and to raise the children's voice, confidence, understanding, and awareness.
Julia Tang & Janice Lee
Social Media Managers
Julia Tang, a rising sophomore at OCSA, is the Social Media Lead for OCSA Ready To Grow. She is incredibly passionate about using social media as a tool for advocacy and connection, highlighting student efforts, sharing mission-driven stories, and encouraging more people to get involved. Janice Lee is a high school freshman with a passion for film. She is excited to share about RTG and introduce people from all around the world to the Ready to Grow Initiative, believing that no matter what age, everyone deserves the same opportunities to be supported.
Ava Madison Gray
Educational Manager
Ava Madison Gray is the Educational Manager for Ready to Grow. She also serves as the official liaison between the OCSA chapter and the nonprofit, helping coordinate communication and collaboration between both organizations. Some of her hobbies include singing, acting, dancing, and creating films. She is excited to be part of the team and looks forward to making a meaningful difference in the lives of young children by supporting their growth, development, and learning.
